Mata ne in Japanese means “See you later” or “See you next time”. Mata literally means “again” while ne is a sentence-final particle that indicates the speaker’s request for confirmation or agreement from the hearer. In short, ne is equivalent to “isn’t it” in English. Note that in Japanese there is no differentiation between singular or plural form.

On the other hand, Mata ne dot wordpress dot com is my Japanese language study blog. This will serve as my online diary to track my Japanese language study progress. I got the idea from a new-found Japanese friend, Ken-san (Mr. Ken).
